The AI Director
A brief goes in. A shot list comes out.
Your request is not forwarded to a video model. It goes to a reasoning model that has read the whole project: every uploaded reference and what analysis found in it, your registered cast and products, the brand kit, the current storyboard, and the conversation so far. It returns a structured plan — scenes with duration, camera, lighting, environment and a self-contained prompt for each.
- Understands vague direction: "make it feel more premium" changes lighting, pacing and framing across the board.
- Knows what you have selected — "make this one a night shot" edits exactly the scene highlighted on the canvas.
- Acts through tools rather than replying with instructions: it creates, edits, reorders and connects for you.
- Tells you what is missing. If a brief needs a face you have not uploaded, it says so instead of inventing one.
The canvas
Your project as a graph, not a form.
Every asset, character, product and scene is a node. The connections between them are not decoration — a line from an image to a scene carries a role, and that role decides whether the model treats it as a style reference, a first frame or the product itself.
- Drag files straight onto the board; they upload where you dropped them.
- Connect a reference to a scene and choose what it means. The choice is remembered.
- Infinite pan and zoom, multi-select, grouping, copy and paste, undo and redo.
- Everything is persisted. Refresh and the board is exactly where you left it, viewport included.
Consistency
The same person. The same product. Every shot.
Naming a character in a prompt does almost nothing. StudioAI registers characters and products from real photographs, derives a factual description from those images, and sends the approved references with every generation that features them.
- One to ten reference images per character, tagged by role — face, full body, side, outfit.
- A written identity derived from the photographs, reused verbatim in every prompt.
- Products carry front, side, detail, packaging and logo references.
- Scene-to-scene continuity: shared location, lighting, wardrobe and time of day are asserted only where the previous shot actually established them.
Generation
Scene by scene, version by version.
Each scene generates independently. Nothing is overwritten — every take is kept as a version you can preview, compare and promote. Reshooting shot three does not touch shots one, two and four.
- Cost is calculated and shown before the button becomes active.
- Credits are reserved, not deducted, and released in full if a run fails.
- Model capability is checked first: an unsupported duration is adjusted and explained, an unsupported reference is refused rather than silently dropped.
- Long generations run in the background. The canvas updates when they land.
Models
Auto, or exactly the one you want.
Seedance, Veo, Kling and the rest are registry entries with their real capabilities and pricing. Pick a quality tier and the router chooses; or name a model and it is honoured, with any incompatibility explained rather than worked around.
- Draft, Fast, Balanced, Quality and Premium tiers map onto whatever is currently enabled.
- Routing accounts for aspect ratio, duration, resolution, audio and the kinds of reference attached.
- Prompts are rewritten per model family — the phrasing Seedance responds to is not the phrasing Veo does.
- A prompt inspector shows exactly what will be sent, for anyone who wants to see it.
Timeline and export
Cut it, then ship a real file.
Approved scenes drop onto a timeline where you can reorder, trim, add transitions and lay voiceover or music over the top. Export renders with FFmpeg into a single MP4, stored in your own object storage and available to download.
- Video, voiceover, music and caption tracks.
- Cuts, dissolves and dips to black between shots.
- 720p and 1080p, in 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1.
- Renders run in the background; you can keep working or close the tab.
